More info
I've been working on this stuff a very long time. I have/had been playing alot of Final Fantasy XI, now working at a sign design
place. I've been tweaking and changing this site for a long time, now I hope to actually keep up with it and post here more
often. Not only do I host this site, but I also host
Crystal Reverie. A LinkShell that
I'm in, in Final Fantasy XI. I'm a casual laidback person like to be with my friends and family. Hobbies are Computer Graphics
and gaming. Favorite program is PhotoShop with the runner up is Illustrator. I seem to be liking Illustrator more and more as I use it
more often. Been doing alot of "commercial" pieces lately (as well as a bunch of signatures). I still love surrealism and Sci-Fi as well.
I hope you all enjoy this site (and what's on it) as much as I have keeping it running for so many years. It hasn't always been this
name or a portfolio site. The History of "Murphster Productions" nearly 10 years running while I type this.
Blog?!
I've been asked this on numerous occasions. "Hey you have a MySpace or a Facebook I can go check out?" My usual response is "nah" I'm not
going to run off and make those things if I can do it right here on my very own site and people can still see what I do.
Now don't get me wrong; Facebook, MySpace and sites like that are great sites for folks to blog and post their page.
I just personally don't have a use for them.
The Murphster Blog
Nah, this doesn't contradict the previous statement. I said I wouldn't sign up for a MySpace or a Facebook, I didn't say that I wouldn't
use a Blog.
So I grabbed a program (WordPress) and set up my own blog right here on my site! It's mostly "mind rambles" inbetween major updates. It also displays Work in Progresses
as they unfold before the final piece is posted in one of the galleries.
History of Murphster Productions
It all started with a thought, an idea, and then it grew into something wonderful.

1997 to 2001 - Bomber's Video Game and Computer Game Website (version 0.0)
This was the original site I put up back in 1997 and was really just a first attempt at making a website.
Had some hints and guides of some of the games I used to play back then... well I still play them, but don't
host site tips about them any longer. As you can tell by the image to your right, it blantly used a fairly familar
logo that is used in a certain Video Game about a "Bomber Man". I was young, 7th Grade... we all have done this atleast
once when we were young eh? :P

2001 to 2002 - Bomber's Digital Art Site (version 1.0)
After about three years, I decided to make my first art related website. I wanted to show pieces of artwork I had been
creating for the past few years and I thought this would be a good way to do it. The site was crude, a few links but it
did show a large portion of what I had been doing. It still sported a similar logo from the origianl site just modified.
This was also the first (and last) time I made an animated splash screen using Flash Player. The Ship depicted in this
logo was carried into further logo splash screens for quite some time. It's the first Sci-Fi ship I ever designed.

2002 to 2003 - [RWZ]Bomber's Digital Art Media (version 1.5)
As the site kept adding more pieces and works, the logo was becoming old and irrevelant, besides it being a rip-off
of another logo. So I used an alias that I had used in games and previous things as the new site's name and the logo
reflected this change. The site's backbone was improving and this was the first stage I started using a table based
site instead of a Frame based sites.

2003 to 2003 - [RWZ]Bomber Productions (version 2.0)
Early into college, the works that I posted slowed mainly due to working on college projects.
During the first few quarters, while in one of my early courses, I redesigned the layout once
again, mostly for a nicer look and better navigation. The logo was a combined design via a project
I did in College and some altercations. Humorously this was also used as a spray logo for Half-Life Games.

2003 to 2004 - Murphster Productions (version 2.5) | 2004 to 2005 (version 3.0)
Now, I was looking for a more sleek, professional look to go with now as I approach the end of my college career. RWZBomber
wasn't a good name to stick with either, it didn't mean anything anymore and no one would be able to reference it to me. It
wasn't professional (and the design wasn't too great either.) I also needed a new url seeing as my previous one was too long,
and clunky. Murphster Productions was born with that in mind, using an old nickname I was given from back in Middle School
(ah memories). Version 3.0 was a small facelift. Also sporting a "favicon" as well and a nicer navigation system no new logo though.

2005 to 2008 - Murphster Productions (version 3.5)
After college, I came back to my site after being away from it for quite sometime and gave it another
facelift in hopes that I would be able to use it to attain a job. Alas it didn't make the cut for an assistance to
getting a job so it kinda fell into a slump with lack of updates that I had promised. This being the longest version it has
stayed on had a fairly clean and simple layout and sported one of the better navigations I had ever designed, until Crystal Reverie.

2008 to Present - Murphster Productions (version 4.0)
Quite some time after graduation and working/getting into my field as well as being away from this site so long, I had created
Crystal Reverie's site. That taught me some new skills in site creation and also picked up some new skills for my various applications,
I gave the site the version 4.0 overhaul with a new backbone structure that uses XTHML as well as traditional HTML languages. The point
of version 4.0 is also not to be strictly an art site any longer, but to be a blog and hobby site as well.
